Welcome Guests Part II

Here we are at church with our greeters welcoming guests!  The children are learning the responsibilities of being part of the congregation by being the greeters and ushers.  Here they are welcoming Auntie Jeanette to worship.

From the left is Sanette (mom to Sharifa, William, Cyril), Geraldo, Sharifa.  On the right are William, Clive (dad), Cyril and Auntie Jeannette.

 And yes, the Pastor actually goes to church AND leads worship.  Front row, Cloete family: Helga with er daugher Lulu, and son Josey, and her father, their Oupa (Grandpa) Garrett.  Second row, Geraldo and his mom Jacqueline.  Manike and Christian are behind her.  Others are too hard to see, sorry!

And Pastor even leads congregational meetings!  Here is the synod treasurer explaining things to the congregation about the Outdoor Ministry project, David (a member and leader of the Otjiwarango congregation) and Jimmy the Synod Secretary (day to day operations leader).

What would church be without food??  Here we relax at Helga and her father Garrett's house.

 And it would not be Kalkfeld without a braai (BBQ) and a braai (grill) full of meat.  Richard on the left (Garrett's son and Helga's brother) is an expert and his uncle David watches to get the technique down.
