Okay so may be not a flash and maybe not news. The construction on the "visitor's center" continues.
Was supposed to be finished this month but I don't think we are on schedule.
I heard the soil engineer rejected the soil they brought in for something. Not sure what because looking at the buildings I would think we were beyond soil until the parking lots are constructed. But I know nothing about construction.
So if you were planning to come to Kalkfeld for the shopping, you might want to wait a little bit. Speculation has begun about what shops might be opened in the center.
Starbucks is out of the question. Nobody here drinks designer coffee- just instant. Most of us are hoping for a gas station and a grocery store.
