Visitors

We had a visit from the congregation in Walvis Bay.  They have a wonderful food distribution and feeding program.  It started with feeding children lunch at school and expanded to all the schools in that area.  When they asked for donations one of the fish companies took on the support.  They still do sandwiches for the children.  But in addition, they collect and distribute food packages for the elder members of the congregational churches in Kalkfeld, Otjiwarango, and Grootfontein. Probably 50 or more packages of flour, sugar, oil, and other staples.  They bring them every few months.
Here are the men who brought the food (4 hours from Walvis Bay)- the two on the end, their Pastor second from left, Garrett and grandson Emmanuel and me.

(I am not sure why they wanted me in the picture!)  Garrett takes the food to the local people here and transports the packages to Otjiwarango and from there someone takes them to Grootfontein.  These two are the real folks behind the program coordinating it all.
