Visitors III

Okay, pet peave.  Here is a buggy coming (pick up truck).  Note how the passenger is riding.  In the back of the truck. STANDING up.  This I see all the time.
Many times there is room in the cab for them to ride.  There is always room for them to sit in the truck bed.  I see this going slow and FAST on dirt roads, I see this going through town, I see this going fast on paved highways.
It is not comfortable to sit in the truck bed.  I have done it.  You feel every bump.  But I sat and held on tight the whole way and made the children sit too- and held on to the smallest one and that was on the dirt road two miles from school to home.  There is very limited transportation and sometimes it is the only way to get a ride anywhere.
But this is just the WRONG thing to do for safety and for an example for the children who stand too (even the very littlest ones- and in the US we require car seats and seat belts for everyone)!!
I know I am supposed to be culturally correct, but come on folks!  Life is precious.  Let/make the person who is a different color or who is your employee (even if they are covered with dirt, mud or oil, so are you!) sit inside the cab with you.  Make the extra passengers SIT in the truck bed.
Take care of the children- all of God's children.  Amen.  End of sermon.

These are some other visitors- unwelcome actually.  There are two herd of goats in the area.  One usually has a shepherd, the other has two dogs.  This is the herd with the dogs.  They do not belong to anyone who lives here and therefore are not allowed on the property.

But it is very dry and there is nothing to eat so they graze where ever they can.

Unfortunately they can be very destructive to the plants people don't want them to eat and they get in where ever they see food.

But I find their markings are sometimes quite interesting.
