Of course after the induction and the wedding there was a braai. Three types of salad, meat, and roosterbrood. We were originally told to plan for 50. We thought twice about it and planned for 100. We ended up serving 135 meals. Between Moses (manna) and Jesus (multiplying the loaves and fishes/meat and salads) thank goodness we had just enough.
People didn't stay for a picnic but took their braai to go because most of them had a minimum of four hours on the road ahead of them. (The folks from Luderitz had 10 hours??) But it was wonderful to have everyone come to celebrate. Here are Helga and Josey resting before the big clean up.
Lulu resting midst the tea cups. Her uncle Richard is in the middle holding the pole- he was a great help with the braai.
A tired and happy Pastor.
Now you know why I don't like my picture taken- what happened to my hair?? Somebody get me a brush!!
