A Walk to the Settlement Part 4

Looking back down the highway from the way I have just came.  This is one of the women working on the new construction who asked me to take her picture.

If I had walked down the highway instead of going to the school, this is what you would have seen before we got to the Stop Bed and Breakfast.

You can just barely see G K Wahl Combined School from the highway- parallel to the highway on the left side of the road.

On the right side all there is is bush except in the bush there is also the old pool.  I think it has been closed for 20-30 years.  There were two bathrooms- one just out of sight on the right and one at the far end of the pool.  The shallow end has steps to get in.  The deep end does not have a ladder or steps.  There is what looks like a the remains of a life guard seat- the pool is too shallow (maybe 6 foot) for a diving board that tall.
