Now we begin our walk back to the settlement. But before we go, two more reasons to visit the settlement. Helga (left) Garrett's daughter and Auntie Joey who lives in the house on the other side of Helga's old shop.
Looking back down the main street in town toward Garrett and Helga's next to their house is a convenience store owned and run by twin elderly ladies. Then a house on the corner that seems to be being renovated. We are now standing at the main cross road in town.
This is looking the other way up the main street. On the left are the post office. and police station and one house. On the right is one house. Beyond is the road to a couple farms outside of the settlement
The house being renovated is on the left, the post office on the right. The street down the middle is the only other street in town. There is one house on each side of the street. It is the same road (behind us) to the church grounds.
The post office and police station.
Looking back from further down the road to the church.
There are two houses on the walk back to the church property- one on the left.
One on the right.
Looking back as we are past the houses now.
