More houses on the right side of the road.
An old church closed many years ago when the majority white population left Kalkfeld (can't remember the denomination), used as a preschool- left side of the road.
A view coming into the center of the part of the settlement on the highway.
The gas station, closed many years ago- left side of the road. There is also a store that had electronics and toys- also closed.
A first view of the new buildings being constructed for the visitor's center on the right side of the road. It is supposed to have a new post office (not sure why as the old post office seems fine), space for 5 small retail outlet stores, public restrooms and a take away (fast food). It may also have a gas station. Original completion date was September 2013. No update yet on when it will be completed.
