A Walk into the Settlement of Kalkfeld Proper Part 1

Now that we have walked the children to school, we set off for the settlement or die dorp (the town).  Kalkfeld was downgraded to a settlement years ago due to the closing of businesses and drop in population.  The population may have grown back since then but the business unfortunately has not returned.

On the way back to the highway (the school is on right behind us) 

 First we pass a couple houses.  There is one other one I didn't get in the picture behind the one on the left that Garrett owns that is vacant.  The one in the picture is the house of the bed and breakfast owner I think.

The Spot bed and breakfast and take away (fast food) place.  The B & B has four rooms.  The take away has been closed since July.

Just strolling along.  At just the right moments the sunlight can bring out vivid colors.
