One Last Sunday Part 5

The good bye ritual.
As Moderator of the Namibia Synod, responsible for the support of the churches and ministers of the Synod, Rev. Blankenbergh represented the Synod.

It is an important ritual in which the congregation and Pastor thank, forgive and release each other.

Jimmy Heyman, Namibia Synod Secretary spoke on behalf of the Synod.  (Others spoke on behalf of the church but unfortunately we didn't get their pictures.)

I explained about where the communion chalices and plates came from and that they were my gifts for the congregation.

The Rev. Philip Strydom, President of the UCCSA gave the final blessing and benediction.
