March 24 Sunday- Palm Sunday
We started with the children and Rev. Muriel picking me up with palms in hand.
Then we went to find the procession.
And we joined the singing and dancing and praying and shouts of Hosannah!!
A sign advertising the Passion of Christ play on Friday night at the Church.
Note the instrument in hand of the woman from the Soldiers of Christ. A book size vinyl covered pillow with a handle your hand slips into and when struck with the palm of the hand makes a wonderful percussion sound, much louder than clapping.
A full house.
Opening prayer together.
The youth choir sang beautifully.
Rev. Muriel introduces the preacher.
The Soldiers of Christ lead the singing as the choir is at a choir festival.
The children collected and brought the offering forward.
The congregation went out singing Hosannah!
It was a joyous celebration on Palm Sunday!
