Trip to Botswana Day 5

March 22 Friday
Today was a day for goodbyes and a travel day.
Ayana and the sweet and friendly calico kitty at our host's house.  Kitty has no name but she is definately attached to our host and loves to be petted by visitors.

We went back to the church for breakfast and goodbyes and then I traveled with Rev. Muriel and Rev. Basil Manning to Gabarone and then on to Molepolole for a week.

The UCCSA staff loading the car with suitcases and books in every square inch of the car.

Last goodbyes and pictures.
Leon taking down the flags of the 5 Synod countries- South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Botswana.

Our wonderful driver- a Deacon and leader in the church, a member of the choir, a retired Botswana Police officer, a farmer, a grandfather and a wonderful man. And I am forgetful of names...
Basil at the pulpit of Trinity Congregational Church, Gabarone.

Me at the Trinity Congregational church pulpit.

Arriving at the Molepolole Congregational Church, I was greeted by the youth leaders.
 And the Deacons.
And the leaders of Women's Fellowship.
We shared a snack and a prayer and a greeting.

Molepolole Congregational Church, my host church for Holy Week in Botswana!
